DANESE'S NOVELTIES AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK
14 April 2024

Milan, 15 April 2024 - On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Danese Milano presents new objects, graphics and light art works created with Mimmo Paladino, Nendo, Herzog & de Meuron and Enzo Mari.
Following the manifesto “Contenir, Regarder, Jouer” within different scales the new proposals dialogue with reissues and designs reinterpreted with new materials.
The new collection expresses a conscious and circular design with the interpretation of natural materials such as glass, wood, cork and marble and it is designed to collaborate with different craft and industrial production skills.
Danese has always been conceived as a place for methodological and material experimentation: the project is research and culture, it starts from an anthropological approach combined with constant technological innovation.

The re-edition of graphics from Enzo Mari's "Serie della Natura", Mimmo Paladino's "Spettatori" and the game composed of modular wooden elements Awa, Han-en, Hoshi by Nendo take up the theme of accessible art and education, a fundamental part of Danese's DNA.

With the Pebosto collection, Herzog & de Meuron interpret the design vision of timeless and transversal objects of Danese Milano.

Finally, Enzo Mari's Successo tray set designed in 2003 is reissued with a silver finish and in a limited edition.

Danese has always adopted an elementary but recognizable linguistic code where subtraction and simplicity are translated into an expressiveness that is the result of design intelligence and not formalism for long term products. The value of Danese’s design confirms the coincidence of humanistic and technical skills capable of creating beauty and emotion as a response to man’s needs in his everyday life.
